In his previous CEO role and career in community health, Oscar and a senior member of his staff, and in partnership with the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured, co-authored an issue brief about making the Affordable Care Act work with immigrant families. The issue brief was a leading resource for the U.S. Bureau of Primary Care, the 1,200 community health centers across the country, and for key change makers in public policy.

Oscar was featured in Conscious Company Magazine’s list of “20 Game Changing Founders of Color” and is featured in their April 2019 issue (#19).
